| Agreed, you dont need a 4ch, unless you want to run the cutting brake. When it comes out. I want to try it so bad.

Oh, i'm not saying it's not competetive. i'm just saying that 90% of the builds on here have all these parts & money thrown in them without ever having even been run stock. So I was simply trying to say that I'm looking forward to seeing a near stock xr10 getting a "pro tun/.setup" and see what it is truly capable of. Geez... take it easy... Shafty for life! j/k.... kinda sorta I aplaud Jake for keeping it near stock. I could really care less about build 2, unless it is complete outside the box. Ya know a person is a well-respected driver when their build thread is 4 pages long and they've only posted half a dozen "build-related" entries |

Don't forget this is a build thread. I'm sure all on here will learn a little or a lot from this thread. And all of the team drivers are running stock and Axial upgrade parts. Bring it on Jake!!!

Jake, I would really like to know where I could get my hands on some of the upper links like you have. I have searched everywhere and can't find them. Any help would be appreciated. Great build thread and can't wait to see build #2!!

Ah...Jake knows it's a friendly jab. Wondering what he's gonna put up for the bounty climb next comp tho. Lots of Losi gear maybe? |

Whipped up a quick battery tray out of .016 Aluminum plate. Made a paper template first The tray tucks in behind my 5 Hour Energy motor guard It is held on by a 3mm screw that is tapped into the gear case. A little paint and it's done! Fits an 860 3S with no binding I switched back to the 94mm straight lower links with a 6mm spacer added in the front for more battery clearance throughout travel. Plus this lets me slide the battery in and out between the links without having to remove the body. |
