I got busy this morning after work. Got the deadbolt body all cut accept cutting the interior out. Looking Ike it should be a decent fit. I got the colors narrowed down to 3 lol.

Looking forward to it.

In more traditional news, I grabbed that cheap winch from RPP Hobby so that I'll qualify for the series here in Vermont. I guess I still need a gas can or something. Or a rickshaw on the back might look good....

The yeti qualifies more than enough to meet the minimum scale items for the race. You got a fire extinguser, radiator, rear light bar (if equipped with LEDs), fuel cell and partial interior/drivers. All it needs out of the box (guess I hafta say rtr now lol) is a winch. Speaking of winch what one did you pick up anyways?

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. I thought they might not count the RTR stuff. I better paint that fire extinguisher!

I ended up getting the 3Racing for a whopping $25. I'm sure you get what you pay for - but at that price I could probably order 2 and still come in cheaper than others I've seen.

I had a 3R 1/10 scale one on my SCX and it did fine but looked a little small. I went with a 3R 1/8 scale and it would dead lift with no strain my 7lb SCX. I never put it through its paces but i think no replacement for displacement

Nice score coma. Definitely black and leave the road rash i mean scratches.

I just got my PL Cherokee body due to Dasco's amazing looking one. Might be a Christmas break project. I narrowed it down to one color. Orange is my go to.

My yeti is getting quite heavy - the 1/8 might have been the way to go. I guess I'll just have to get really good at driving so I don't need it
