Oh nice ssd. That should surely not break the bank. I thought it was a whole transmission! Awesome

Man.....can't beat that price! Add in a reliable, inexpensive servo to control shifting and you're maybe $100 for a 2-spd assuming you have a 3rd channel on the radio.

Man, $65 for the 2 speed? I really didn't want to upgrade the Yeti, but maybe I'll have to now... I should just make a big order of crappy servos from hobbyking. |

It blows my mind how badly Axial has failed with the 2 speed for the Yeti. It says 2 speed right on the box, and the Yeti came with a 2 channel Tx. So even if they did release the 2 speed you would still have to buy another Tx. Shouldn't they have included a 3 channel? And why would you call a 2 channel Tx "AX-3"? Pretty misleading. Whole lot of false advertising going on.

Cool! I pretty much decided I didn't need a 2-speed gearbox in my Yeti as long as I have a sensored-brushless motor installed, but if I start seeing positive reports about this product then I will definitely buy one. I don't know if this is possible, but a close-range gearbox would be a nice option, for those of us who aren't planning to take our Yetis rock-crawling but would still like to give the motor a little bit of a break when running through the woods. |

I still can't wrap my head around people wanting to run a locked axle Rc 30+mph. Then complain about rear problems. The two speed I like because I run the stock sensorless. Reduce the real low cogging and still let it get 12 mph around the top end. Enough to bump over or have a little wheelspeed on a hill climb.
