I have both and the rey blows the yeti out of the water in handling. i think its the way the chassis is setup. drive one and youll see what i mean.

Same as in 4link but the geometry is completely different and the off center diff both contribute to the poor handling of the axial. Seems like axial took a more rock crawler 4 link set up approach.

The Losi is better because it's lighter and is just a better design. The front suspension on the Yeti is fine for crawling but not for high speed stuff. Has way too much slop, bump steer and camber change. Chassis has a high center of gravity also.

As i see the yeti it's a rock racer. Fast but also capable for light crawling. that's his genetic and that's axials intent. the yeti it's an own race class in my eyes. Like Axial did on axial fest ![]() U4 Races: too heavy.... modified with aftermarket parts.. my rig is now not fully finished race ready at 4300g near 10lbs U4 max 8 lbs ![]() G6 maybe, not quit sure. But here in Germany i only found 1 G6 Race, others are mostly scale events for 1.9 rigs, a yeti will never fit the gate size .... ![]() You can setup and upgrade a yeti for short course races ... he will be good ... but not like special short course designs..Will this matters, don't know, maybe same driving skill. But in my opinion you could go there race and have fun with your yeti. And fun it's all about. Fun Building ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i didn't build mine for racing, more freestyle driving. ![]() But i would love to participate on an event with yeti class race in Germany or close. just too meet crazy people ![]() |

The Score wasn't designed to race, Axial saw the interest in converting Yeti to TT's and came up with a body and cage and through it on the Yeti. Losi built a Trophy truck your comparing apples and oranges Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk |

I have a Yeti/Score and like it. It's just more a "scale" experience than performance one. If you want performance, get the Losi. That's all I was trying to say when I brought up the Losi. And neither one is designed to race,BTW.
