I just saw this on my FB news feed, this is wicked! It's basically a 1/8 scale solid axle trophy truck right?

Now it's just wait for the kit, or maybe just the parts tree of the new cage, body and bumper. (Maybe the tires and wheels too...)

Saw this, so it's a Yeti with a different body...meh. Up next a Jeep bodied SCT Yeti.

Sure would be nice to see something new on the crawler side of Axial, there's 50 other companies doing the go fast stuff. And when I say new I don't mean a new body either unless Axial is going to use that Jeep license to make a hard body instead of lexan bodies.

Agreed, but they really need to update the aging SCX chassis, re-work the whole platform. ![]() |

Looks cool, I might pickup the body, wheels, tires, and bumper and then I have the best of both. ;)

@fr8cture: true. I wonder if the cage is just a roll bar and rear or actually covers the cockpit an chassis. Also the SCT wheels are interesting. I will go just for the wide front bumper as I built my own Yeti based trophy truck as well and that's all mine is missing ![]() And since I hand built my own one Now I can relate to all you guys that built crawlers way before Axial came out with a RTR version... somehow I feel honored/heard - but on the other side, it's time to move on now to something new ![]() |

Looking the PDF in Axial website I found more than one body part number: The one from the RTR pictures: AX31302 TT-380 SCORE® Trophy Truck® Body - .040" (Clear) AX31306 TT-380 SCORE® Trophy Truck® Grille and Cage Components And this one in the option parts list: AX31310 TT-380 SCORE® Retro Trophy Truck® Body - .040" (Clear) AX31311 TT-380 SCORE® Retro Trophy Truck® Grille and Cage Components So that means soon we will see another different looking Trophy Truck RTR, or KIT or maybe just an extra body. |

And there's more: (not as exciting as the extra body...) The already mentioned SCT tires in the RTR: AX31294 2.2 3.0 BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 Tires 42mm - R35 Compound (2pcs) And in the option parts list there's a 2.2 version of the same tires. AX31325 2.2 BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 Tires - R35 Compound (2pcs) |

I like it, I was strongly considering evocustoms trophy truck, but I may wait and see if Axial comes out with a kit, and if proline comes out with a scale TT body.
