Big changes coming to the Trophy Truck. Axial sent me their Retro body and said "Have at it", so I did. Final bit of paintwork coming shortly.

Never run a Slash. Not a big fan of the Traxxas models.

All done! Pretty chuffed with the end result. First time seriously using liquid mask and I think I'm hooked.

Paint turned out nice, looks like it came from the factory like that!

Thank you sir. Very pleased with the outcome. So pretty I doubt I could run it. Thankfully I'll have the kit version here soon enough so I can do one with even more paint detail!

No rub. The body sits pretty high in the front and the shocks have the stiffer springs on them.

I'll be doing the same, although some time after you... Let me know how that goes and keep shelling out pics of both trucks!

Thanks very much! Liquid mask is one of those things that requires a lot of planning and foresight. I'm just glad it turned out. There were definitely a few mistakes, but I'm reasonably pleased with the end result. It's fun to use paint rather than stickers.

That body looks fantastic. I have already destroyed my stock one (those sides are terribly flimsy) but I can't bring myself to spend 70 bucks on a new one. Just an insane cost.
