Went to get more and they didn't have any.

So I bought this instead. No comparison, but it's not bad. Lil malty for my taste.

The name comes from the "Hop Belt", being 48 degrees latitude. And then some hops from all over the place along that line.

How's the carbonation of it? Last Sam Adams I had (Boston Lager) was like drinking pop (or soda to you weirdos) because there was so much of it. I hate that in a beer, to me Guinness has the perfect amount of carbonation.

Beer I had on Sunday....Delirium Tremens, a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. The style is a lot like a Tripel IMO, but has a little less ABV (8.5%). I would definitely drink it again....good stuff. It was $8.99 for a 750mL bottle. Next up to try is Delirium Noel, their holiday brew.

Not like a pop. But it's got some bubble to it.

Guinness is full of nitrous, making it smooth and creamy. Unless it's their not nitrous versions...

You mean nitrogen, or "nitro" for short. Not nitrous. Imagine being drunk and . Might shoot beer out yer nose!

Well, we can still buy Fours and shit around here, so I dunno.

What I do know is it's the weekend and the best BBQ in town opened an hour early, so I went for a pound of hickory smoked brisket. So incredible. I had to find a beer to go with it, so I got Dogfish Head's Chicory Stout, and some Racer 5.

http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirits...cory-stout.htm

I'm full of brisket and Racer 5. The Chicory is next. Racer 5 is great, even with all the floaties its got floating around in it.

That Chicory stout is pretty good, had me some last night. I'm headed down to San Diego right now. Hot bed for craft beers down there. Should have something good to report back!

Got this one too.

I like anything with Centennial hops I've come to find. At least I think I do.

Two more beers today, and they're not IPAs!

The Founders is awesome, and the Brew Kettle Black Jack is about 100% typical of a Porter. The Brew Kettle is not too far away from me in Strongsville, Ohio and only $4, so I gladly support them.

Found a new one from up the road from me in Strongsville.

I get citrus then pine flavors. Very mild malt.

A Big, Bold, imperial IPA! The clean malt plays a supporting role to the straight up Simcoe hops through and through that give this varietal hop bomb its bang.
