Man this would give all the guys talking about there shafty trucks a place to play by there selves. But the guys that are willing to step up and run there shaft trucks against MOA's now do not get a chance.
I guess you can not have your cake and eat it two.

Splitting classes would be death to the smaller clubs. The numbers would be down in each class, which equals less competition and less fun. I like many folks on here, have an Axial rig, Losi CC, and a Berg MOA. They each have advantages and disadvantages. What happens when Enroute, New Age, or whatever they'll be next year pulls out or can't meet demand. Are we all goin to run Bullys? Can these smaller manufactors (RC4WD, New Age, ETC) meet the demand of the hottest thing in RC in the last few years. Can we totally rely upon aftermarket support to sponsor/support these bigger comps. Also by supporting the MOA only, as the highest level of competiton what imagine is being promoted for people considering getting into crawling. Last time I looked a MOA RTR wasn't available. This hobby is an addiction and everyone on here knows that. We all started with TLTs, TXTs, Clods or AX10s, and the desire to climb more obstacles or out perform our buddies rig, drove us to build better rigs. It seems to me that the sportsman class would draw in new crawlers and once they had a feel for it, they would more than likely step into the open competition where they could run shafties or MOAs. I hope this split is rumor and doesn't occur. Just my $0.02.

Losi won't be out of the game, there's a MOA kit for them.

Did this come from the same mind as the no reverse ESC rule?

Sounds like BS to me, but if it goes through I'll probably give up on comp rigs altogether and just do scalers. Too many rules take the fun out of it.

I hope that this is just a bad rumor also...Because I don't see that advantage of a MOA vs. a shafty. I have both and get my a** handed to me either way. I got dead a** last award in 2008 Michigan State Championship driving my axial and I had a repeat this year driving my Berg. From my limited experience it is the driver more than anything.

Yep!

Some people would rather run around saying stupid chit rather than find out the facts on something first.

exactly "catching wind of" is about as credible as the last kid's interpretation of what was said in a game of telephone.
