| Re: Pics of your latest purchase Quote: Go to your local Game Kastle, or similar store specializing in gaming miniatures...they typically have hundreds of paints. All for a "wash". One of the most known companies producing them is 'Secret Weapon'. Pick a dark-colored wash, such as "Armor Wash". When you get back home, remove the handles, and, using a #3 brush (or smaller), brush the wall into the honeycomb crevices. You'll want to get a good coating...not too light, but also not a "pool of liquid". However, if the wall gathers into corners, that's ok...that's actually a good thing. Let it sit there for at least a few minutes. The longer, the darker; the shower, the lighter. If, after the next step, the achieved 'darkness' is too light for you, just repeat the previous, and next, step...keep repeating until you achieve the desired level of 'darkness'. Now, using a dry brush, "wipe up" the wash, and check to see if your desired level of 'darkness' is achieved. Once you've achieved your desired level of 'darkness', you want to seal it with something like polyurethane (an aerosol works best)...preferably flat, or satin, finish...NO good, it semi-gloss. Do 4 medium coats, at a 45-degree angle, one from each direction, so that you not only get the bottom of the crevices, but also the sides. I'd recommend waiting 15-30min between each coat. Once those 4 coats are done, give it one final, medium, coat, straight down. Finally, wait at least 24hrs (I'd probably recommend waiting 48-72hrs...the longer, the better, so that the polyurethane can completely dry/harden) before reattaching the handles. ~ More peace, love, laughter, & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place | |

Got some Servo extenstions, and 2 wire mini connectors for an RC Project I need to get into now that I have the connectors. Also got the 8mm Treal Hexes for the Gen8 Axe. the added 2mm help give a bit of clearance to the front knuckles and steering links. Only installed them on the fronts. |

I got some stuff for the toolbox. A Knipex comfort grip cutting pliers. Then by chance I was given a coupon for a free precision diamond tip screwdriver set from Olsa. I've never used any Olsa tools, but I love their socket organizers. And inside this free screwdriver set was a surprise which is a free demagnetizer/magnetizer. A magnetic screwdriver holder. Not sure if I'm going to like this one, but I wanted to give it a try. And then some more typical socket organizers to replace the junk, metal socket holders from Harbor Freight. That's a great looking Chevy! I have always loved that body style. |

Went and picked up this little guy yesterday. At the beginning of the year I was looking at 4runners and tacos then rona shrunk the budget so I went for something smaller but still fun to drive, and landed on a Civic Si coupe. It’s a blast having a manual again. A little less power than the lexus v6 but still a good time.

When I saw Civic SI and waiting on the pics to load I was so hoping it was one of these early 90 models. No doubt that one is much better and would blow the doors off the older one. | |

| Re: Pics of your latest purchase That’s exactly why I had a soft spot for this modern one. I used to like those little vtec powered Hondas back in high school, the 96-99 ones especially. I liked most of the “hot hatches” of the 90s generally. The vr6 GTI’s back then were killer too.
