Sinking so much metal just for making an artificial reef is wtf for me. The ocean is vast and has been there before us and life has been adjusting to circumstances without human interference.

If they are so much worried of creating an artificial reef then they could have become efficient at it and designed a structure with more surface area and less mass. ..........but no! had to sink that ship. To mine out that much metal from the earth its going to create a considerable carbon footprint.

I "liked" the video just cause it's cool to watch. No "wth" from me because I also understand the effective and environmentally sound reasoning for creating reefs in this way. At least in the US in recent years, responsible planning and execution has greatly reduced the amount of toxic substances associated with these types of structures being submerged into the sea. These reefs also create jobs and other economic benefits, as well as a host of other positives.

I'm often critical of car blogs and bloggers because they are usually garbage. Here's a great example. This blogger calls every Porsche "goofy".

When I was younger I likely would have agreed with him because I didn't understand timeless iconic designs. Now that I'm older, a widowmaker 911 is my dream car.

History channel is having Car Week. This little animation was meant to show a simple how-it-works for fuel injection. This engine wouldn't run unless this is some new spark plug technology.

Again, some of the "experts" on this show were bloggers.

There is a great scene in an episode of "All in the Family" where Archie finds religion after he is nearly killed by a falling crate at work. He is going on to Mike about how God saved him from the accident and it was all God's will. Mike turns to Archie and says: "Arch, did it ever occur to you that God may have been out to get you and missed?!?!"

I'm an advocate of fully prepping a vessel to become a new reef, especially military vessels where hull designs are still Top Secret ( as in the case of an aircraft carrier) but I'd love to see the new "reef" get obliterated by a shot from a sub or some fixed wing aircraft have a field day firing ATS ordnance.

The Brits know how to protest,,,,, and other things.

I just found out via the glory of television that up until 1981 homosexuality was labeled as a decease here in Denmark.

That was WTH to me as i expected that to have been normalized in the 60ties too.

Am I seeing things, or is Ben Collins (aka The Stig and James Bond Driving Stunt Double) driving the Lincoln SUV in this commercial?

Two words. Stockholm syndrome.
