I also have to look at hubby as absolutely no help. Short term he "seems" to intervene but long term he's just another part of the problem... validating, coddling, defending, etc. He must have some real "prematurely pulled from the teat" issues as well. Tolerating and reinforcing that behavior likely speaks volumes of his dependency and insecurities. As much as I love my wife, there's no way I could ride the rails aboard a cuckoo choo-choo. Sad that their kids will also wind up with similar traits/ predispositions.

^^Yep, and another reason I made the claim that I did. I've seen it too many times, spoiled rotten and does whatever she wants while hubby works his ass off most likely. And mostly his fault I might add.

Well I think the parents that wanted the "everybody gets a trophy" to happen so that their little bundle of joy didn't get a broken heart have the same mentality. So, while she didn't get participation trophies, I'm sure she was all for it.

SHE For sure wears the pants and a strap on I bet. He is lucky he didn't get something pointed at him from the Policeman who was very professional IMO. He was doing his husband thing but just at the wrong time. He was more worried about the misses and what his fate was with her than what the real and correct thing to do in that situation With the Policemen.

Sounds like you're part of the problem. He was just doing his job in this case. Blatant disrespect to authority isn't cool if the cop treats you with respect. People that don't respect authority didn't get their asses beat by their parents like they should have.
