knox handed me these saturday..



yeah...
i have to place all the letters/#...F.U.N.
cut out the styrene sign plates and varnish the trail sign post
then assemble.

but its gonna look sooo awesome when its all done!

Scale signs really add to an ORV Park.

Here is one that I've been tweaking & working on for a while. The topo quad in the background is our local quad.

By the way, Did anyone see the article in October 2011, xtream RC on "Building your own scale trail"?

It had a few cool ideas, one "misting" black spray paint on rocks to simulate rubber & worn tire areas. I thought that was a pretty cool idea & would add some realistic effects.

Worth noting that a major RC magazine did an article on scale RC 4x4 terrain.

Hey DRW, that terrain in youre park was put there for scalers. Looks like a fun time for some trail rides. Feel free to send some of those rocks my way. Possibilities are endless with all that rock. Its lookin real sweet.

sdi trail docs..
they leave a black mark more than any other tire ive used so far.

All you people from Virginia, we have a Scale course/park forum at VA-scaler. It's a state wide site dedicated to scale trucks & has really grown in the short time the site has been up.

I like your guys signs, very nicemy wife said she will make some small signs, I will send her these in an e-mail for a hint

Here is my course, getting ready to add to it on my next 7 off.....more concrete & chicken wire

I've just been surfin' around & have found some cool course builds, one is under "Tools"?? not sure why but it's a micro course & some others posted some cool indoor foam setups. theres a GTG course build under regional... General crawelrs, general scale, scale accessories... rig specific...

Seems like a potential market for vendors too. I've seen someone makeing scale banners for RC parks... lot of potential for more stuff. seems like a win win to me.
