Is there any word on the new forum? it would be great to have a specific area to get ideas from.

BTW way the pond is awesome, I am working on some bridges for my micro course. The pond has given me some ideas though!

"Tip & Tricks" seems to be the most popular reason for a forum.

So everybody's got these neat backyard courses with pretty rocks and bridges and pools and such. (Me too.) Has anyone built something drab and functional just for training and evaluation purposes?

I need to teach myself comp-MRC and was thinking of splitting a piece of plywood into three lengths making a narrow 24 ft modular boardwalk. Then screwing on purpose-built obstacles of various heights, angles and such. Kinda like a horizontal climbing wall. As I get better, the blocks get bigger. And I'd like to keep the very end of it "barely impossible".

Now that nationals is over, once everyone gets back and starts to get settled may be a better time to talk with the admins.

Thanks, I'll PM you. Turnout looked pretty good but truth is 7 of those trucks are two people. My oldest boy drives the white Honcho though.

WAM, I've seen something very similar to this although it wasn't modular but could easily have been. it was on RCC but not sure where, I want to say the guy was from Brazil. I have a vauge reccolection of another one too. But this is why we want a dedicated forum... you just can't keep track of where all the threads are on this topic.

Great, would love to see some pictures. I've been pleasantly surprised at the interest in RC ORV courses/parks, it continues to gain momentum.

I would love to see a section devoted to this. I'm starting my course next weekend and would to have a place dedicated to talk / share ideas.
