I think there is a lot of people who haven't thought of developing a course yet & a forum to cruise through would just generate more interest. How many of your ideas that you've incorporated into your own build were yours and yours alone? I've gotten a lot of ideas from surfing the forums and looking what others have done with a Hilux or a defender or a Honcho... My "caution watch for falling beer" sign was an idea I got from someone elses post. a dedicated forum would be a catalyst for this extension of the hobby, build it and they will come. | |

I'll see if I can talk to Jason about it. I have found that sending inappropriate photos or my girlfriends gets things done quickest.

| I've seen those before, just not on RCC... Anyway, I plan to keep trying to get this established. I know there are some members dedicated to helping too. I just wish we could get it established because the more I look, the more "post your course" threads I find and they really are scatter all through the forum. I'm sure there are still threads on the topic that I haven't come across just because I haven't looked. I plan to take some more pics of my new bridges and will be cutting some new trails after the leaves fall & it gets cold so I'll post pics. Hope to get started on my gas station this winter, or at least the pumps. It will be 1/4" Sintra PVC foam board & styrene trim. Got that idea from the RR guys. I've seen some cool indoor garage/diaramas but I haven't seen much outdoor scale buildings so... stay tuned. |

Spoo76 lead me to this post. I agree wholeheartedly! RCORV fantastic idea. I have already been throwing ideas in my head about getting completely stupid with a crawler course. I have seen some model train layouts that would make a man crap! I have been watching youtube and see these folks tearing it up ORV parks in New Mexico, Utah, Tennessee, Arkansas. These are just a few really nice places for the 1:1s to play. I want to make scale Lions back, or tobacco twister, or full throttle hill, Warpath.. Lets get a thread going! |
