They are very close, had one running in a scaler at RCX. We will offer 1800kV and 2500kV first, nice 2S and 3S motors.

These are the same type of motor as the 1/8 T8 line and WILL break stuff The torque these put out has destroyed the drivetrain in my SCX10, looks like it's time to upgrade.

I'll try to update as much as I can guys!

I haven't, but I have no doubt these motors will handle it. I'll give it a go, I've got some 4S packs laying around that need a workout. Testing is a little difficult between iHobby and now, there's 10 feet of snow here and nowhere to crawl but indoors.

I got a chance to drive that scaler and all I can say is WOW super smooth and plenty of torque even on 2 cell

You guys are definitely bringing brushless to crawling a reality

It was a pleasure meeting you Ty!

They are 18.5 right now, but I think I am going to go bigger to get a little more drag brake out of them.

So guys, what kV's would you like to see? It really depends on what you guys want, these motors will most likely be smaller runs and a specialty product just for crawlers. So tell me what you want!

Close to 1500 and/ or 2000kv would be my call.

Shoot me an email about the rotor sizes if you get a chance Ty. I have been talking with Jim about these motors for a while and will certainly be carrying/ distributing them.

I've got 1500, 1800, 2100 and 2500's right now and for 2S in my scaler I love the 2500 geared up a little bit.

We'll talk more.

Equivalent to your hand wound 35t on 3s is what I want.

Thanks,
Rusty

I run a tekin 21.5t with a 14mm rotor which I think is about 2000kv in LCC. I love the torque of the motor. With the 18.5 rotor I assume that they have even more torque, so I'd like the 2500kv for the extra speed.

+1 for me, I've been looking forward to trying one of these in my LCC (on 3S) as an upgrade to my 21.5t Redline. Not quite sure how well it will fit in the LCC; my bent links already make contact w/ the motor can at full stuff.

Would also like a BL motor that will be equally capable of haulin' (ass) and crawlin' in Axial's new rig. I'm thinking 4S would be fun.

I fried a 21.5t by rolling into the water on my scaler, so I am going to stick with brushed on that, but I am looking forward to trying these out on my XR10.

It should fit just the same as the 21.5. I just got our LCC setup this afternoon, going to run a 1800 on 3S first, the 2500 should have some MAJOR wheelspeed. I'll get some install pics for you guys. The can is ribbed like the silver Redlines now, looks really nice!
