Will these be waterproof? Would be a nice feature as alot of us like to play in the wet stuff.

So guys, what kV's would you like to see? It really depends on what you guys want, these motors will most likely be smaller runs and a specialty product just for crawlers. So tell me what you want!
18.5 turn ok, but rotor size? is it stock 12.5mm or 14mm crawler edition?
thanks

18.5mm rotor size. These don't have the same tooling as a Roar style 2 pole motor.

It's an 18.5mm rotor, not turn. It's the same type of design as our T8 motors for the 1/8 scale offroads, a completely different motor than our 1/10 redlines.

No it's not waterproof, I'm not sure a sensored motor likes being wet and neither does the RS. It might be possible to coat the sensor board and seal up the harness plugs though.

Awesome..18.5 rotor!
It releases a terrific torque!
Now i run a 14mm novak ballistic rotor for my Lcc and i have already a lot of torque but i'm not able to immagine The torque of 18.5 rotor!!
Do you already test new motor on Losi lcc?

I'm actually installing it in an LCC today. The torque this thing has is amazing, I've broke every drivetrain part on my SCX10 and AX10 tuber.

Bummer.

I silicone all my sensored brushless motors but like others, was hoping someone would produce a sealed motor. That would sell like crazy especially with TTC being the latest craze. There were a few of us running sensored brushless at Scale Nats last year and I'm sure many more this year.

You have my vote, I'll replace all my Novak stuff with Tekin stuff for sure if that happens. Novak ESC's don't seem to last too long with me.

Tekin products are worth the switch regardless of their water worthiness IMHO. I made the jump from Novak to Tekin several years ago and have never looked back. Great products as well as great support on the forums, crawler and otherwise.

I totally agree, I own both but bought a bunch of the Novak stuff long ago when they first came out.
