If you look at an XR10 the links are near centered with the axle and it has worked well, some like it one way, some like it another. Now they have options.

Sometimes you don't know till you try it.
Agreed. The top link mount on the berg is kinda questionable. Glad someone is
trying to take a look at it

I've finished up the rear section of the rig. I under estimated the height changes during case clocking on the upper mount, so I'll need to address this on round 2. Hence why this was a prototype, but it was done in an extreme hurry just so I can get the rig together. After this weekends West coast qualifier, I'll go back and make it even better. At least this one is truly center on the axle unlike the stock one

Here's a crappy cell phone picture of the back half. I do not like bending links, did I mention that yet? However, I got them just about perfect after probably 3 hours of frustration. I get full flex left to right with no link interference, and i'm 1/8" short of full squat before the chassis braces hit the links, which i'm fine with.

Ti isn't that bad to bend. Here's mine. They're a bit long, so those mounts might be perfect for my application.

I just don't like the Ti cause its hard to fix a bend once you've made it. If I'd finally mount my vise to the bench, it would have probably been even easier

The front went alot better then the rear, and we now have a rolling rig. I can already tell I'm going to like this chassis, it looks to sit low, yet as pictured still has a 3" belly at the lowest section of the skid. I decided to take some posers now, as I'll be adding my ballooned electronics in for this weekends comp. Yay, rain!

Very nice rig, as always with your builds I love the look of that chassis, looks low and mean, yet still has clearance to spare!

Looks awesome!!!!!

I used to hate bending ti, but I've now bent so much of it, that's it's really not bad anymore!

I'll bet bending them without a mounted vise was quite the experience!

Out of curiosity, how long are your rear lowers?

is that eye to eye after the bends?

I ask because I might have some high clearance rear lowers that I could hook you up with, if you were interested?

That was before the bend without rod ends, I'll need to measure them eye to eye.

I did not get a chance to chime in on the bending ti conversation. I have used heat some to help bend stuff. I am not sure however if that compromises the strength of the ti. I do know ti does not like to be bent much.

I've tried hot bending titanium with no success!
It's extremely difficult to get just one spot hot enough to bend like steel.
It seemed like the ti would dissipate the heat so rapidly that I couldn't concentrate it to bend in one place.
Plus it discolors the material and unlike steel, it's very hard to get that nice ti look back to it.

Most people would be amazed at how far you really can bend titanium without it breaking!
