I've had a set of blue rovers for years and never installed them. Glad someone is giving them some love.

are not the blue rovers the firm`est off all rovers??
I have never tried anything but the white rover,,
and I love the white rover,,but it can be to wide in some situations,, then skinny rovers are perfect

When I ran Rovers I used to run the blues on the rear, never tried them on the front. Them narrowed Sedonas sure worked good for you over the weekend!

Blue rovers in the hot part of the summer on rough rocks are the tits. Still have a set because I couldn't part with them.

Its just all about the compound. I think the whites are pushing it, almost too soft but again, that makes them better than the blue in colder weather. Everybodies cars really fall apart in one situation and that is when it gets warm. I know just about every known line I have is not do able when the temps get above 95* but you can crawl them at 60*. Blues help with this.

I think even for 60* degrees the blues are better. I feel the lugs dont want to fold but have more structure to them.

Yes, blue is the most firm. This is one of the factors I had when making a narrow set. The 1.9 rovers have a great tread pattern but the red are softer than the white. I didnt go with the 1.9 for this reason. The 1.9 tread could be great in cold weather though....

Man, just mind blowing how busy I have been the last couple of months. Seems like things are finally coming into control, even if it is months late.

Now that I am not completely overwhelmed with work, I am finally getting more time to play and tune again.

Piggy backing off of Skaldiddogs mod Skaldiddog's "Progress" of changing out the Big Bore shocks O rings to Kyosho O rings, I decided to also try the shock shafts.

I never did feel a huge difference from switching out the O rings and I dont feel much by going to the shafts also. So that begs the question, "What makes a Kyosho shock so smooth?"

Is it the piston/valving?

BB 3.75" shaft on the left, Kyosho 50mm shaft on the right.

I got a chance to go out and run all of my cars this last weekend. Weather was perfect and traction was good (which can be give or take at this location). I have not been out to this spot in over a year but its the closest thing I have to red rock so its where I will practice till Worlds.

3 weekends left till Worlds! I hope you guys are getting your practice on!

Its some of the weirdest rock I have driven on and out all all the places I have ever driven, its unique. Traction varies at this place more than any other spot I have ever seen. You can go out in the morning when its 80* or so and kill every line and then as soon as noon or 1 o'clock hits and its 90* or so and you cant make anything. For that reason, this spot can be very frustrating and impossible to tune your car with. This is the reason I stopped going out here long ago.

Where did I say you need a twin stick?

Lets see your video of the "almost the same" climb with a 4pl.

Its not going to be that smooth and dialed in, not a chance.

Yeah thise transitions were pretty gnarly. I especially liked the ine where you floated front tire and then dropped your whole car in the hole..... so sick.
