Got some RC4WD gears for testing, it's great to have more gear options on the market for bergs, but I'm really keen to get some RCBros ones. |

I agree! Loving these gears but my front locker seams a bit sloppy. Just ordered an RC bros locker to finish the gear swap

My delrin hubs are holding in sweet, they are the best hubs ive ever had on a crawler! Since running them I have NOT had to re-tighten my wheel nuts each run! In the lead upto the Aus Nats I was trying some voodoo's as you know but I just cant like them enough, the thing I don't like is the lack of side wall support as seen in these pics... I haven't given up on them but I wasn't happy enough to run them at the nats.. Traction is awesome though... |

Rear axle.. less motor And the front axle.. Ti tubes (10mm) and lexan/pollycarb mounting + a polly servo mount for something different... After testing im not 100% happy with the polly mounts for the tube and im tossing up weather to go alloy or scrap it and go for one piece billet alloy tubes with a 10mm OD |

Hey mate one thing I noticed is that you changed the design of the part that connects the tube to the gearbox. Dunno what to/its called(mayby flange). Also the front one is made out of polycarbonate or something? Are they just glued on? Looking good.

| Re: Bergsta They are pollycarb/lexan.. they screw to the berg gearbox as normal, the Ti tube is theaded and screws into the polly (just noticed these are old pics before I threaded them, i'll follow up some current ones) which has a thread cut into it too, then ones its all set on place I drilled a hole down through the polly into the tube to lock the tube in.

New Ti tubes after the last set didn't hold up to well.. This time it's got alloy mount and the Ti tube threads into the mount, then a hole was drilled down the side and a grub screw inserted to make sure it goes nowhere |

A little.. Not as much as guys are doing, just enough to give good venting and line up holes with the closed cell foams that I found were spinning in the voodoos

You could drop some weight by shaving the cases and lightening the upper link mounts too. Not to mention shaving the cases will provide some smoother transitions.

Done a bit of prep for this comp.. Yep shocked me too but ive had spare time Got the 300's greased, done them the same way I grease wheel bearing for cars, then I just wiped the excess off... Then I set out to find the glitching issue.. It was in the esc plugs, the salt spray got into them at the cANZ Nats.. so I removed them, also removed the nomadio's RX excess pins to clean it up and soldered the esc's directly to the board, hope this fixes it all now lol |
