Haven't finished gluing tires yet, ran out of glue waiting for some Loctite 406 glue..
So no I haven't ran the tires yet. I'll either run these tires on my spare berg or my sporty. I'm leaning towards the sporty. Hopefully I'll run tires @ BLC's next comp Feb 18th horsemans park.
Mean while I was looking at all the cool looking proline BFG tire tread. So I grabbed some krazy glue and my phone case.

Update on my attempt at building tires.
I received my loctite 406 glue and glued all tire parts together. then used my belt sander to sand ribbing off from inside and thin sidewalls a bit. Not perfect by any means. anyways a few pictures below. Sidewalls could be better but I'm afraid of sanding a hole thourgh the tire.

A big shout out to Paul at Pro-Line and mjyjxj (Don) for hooking me up with 8 BFG KR2 in a M4 compound and 8 truggy suppressor tires in a special compound of the G8.

Thank you for the project, I'll get some action footage of tires on course.

It's definitely a learning curve building your own tires.

I had a chance to test these proline hybrid tires out yesterday. They were hooking up really good.. Foam set-up was the norm. CI close cell comp cut inner and soft outter foams in front. Rear CI close cell standard inner and medium outter foams.

Because this rig is 4p 11oz the soft outter foams felt to soft. So I swapped rear outter medium foams to front. And front outter soft foams to rear.
I'll see if this works my guess is I'll end up medium outter foams front and rear...

Pictures from yesterday

Look at that tire wrap (above) this is with soft outter foams. A little to much wrap hopefully medium outter foams will help.

Above was a big hole picture makes it look smaller.. tires had plenty of traction

Nah those arent gonna work, send them over here and Ill get rid of them for ya

Do you think the inner ribbs you sanded off could have helped with the truck being heavier? Just a thought.

It's possible, but it seemed wrong to leave the ribbing there.

Question about Holmes Hobbies puller motors.
If I was going to buy a set of 16t puller motors for my Berg 400 or 500's?
I'll probably just get crawl masters pro 16t motors.

what's the difference between regular puller motor and puller Team motor?

Thanks guys.

The team motors have thicker wire for more power. I'm looking at the 400's myself. The 400 I think are 2 ounces less weight then the 500. So a 4 oz ounce drop!

I have a question for guys who have built Dlux super lite berg axles. I'm grinding/shorting the Tangs on my FBA universals.
How long are your FBA universals Tangs after you grinded them to fit your super lite berg axles.

I'm at 6mm on ea FBA tang and don't want to remove to much thanks for any info.

Area with red line is where my 6mm is at.
