Wow those new bones are huge compared to the old ones, don't think you will be breaking any of those. So are those still B2\B3 bones?

Quick question on these axles. How is the steering? The AX-10 steering is pretty good, so are the TLT axles with CVD's. Just curious, thinking of possibly getting these axles.

There is just a slight loss over the AX-10 because of the elevated diff.

Drilling the mounting holes for the Axial trans is easy if you have a template here is one way to make a template.

I made one out of lexan then used it to make a little better one using aluminum.

Starting with a piece of lexan I sprayed 3M77 on the plastic only and let it dry for a temporary bond to the bottom of the trans. I drilled 1 hole installed 1 screw in it and drilled the 2nd hole and put a screw in it. Then drilled the the other 2. The screws keep the plastic from shifting around while you work on the others.

Trim the plastic nice and square with the holes. Mark a center line where the trans case splits.

I am going to be using the template more than once or twice so I used this plastic piece to make another one using aluminum, it will last a little longer than plastic.

Set the trans where you want it and mark the spot where the trans case splits, line up the template with the mark on the chassis, temporary bond the template with 3M77.
