Finally bought a crawler, I got it from Dr.Chop... so far I am quite happy with it... I just need to learn how to drive it. Made a few mods already... Truck Base : AX10 ESC: Mamba Max Motor(s): Novac 55T Crawler Servo(s): Airtronics 94357/Hitec HS225mg Dig Trans: Axial/VF dig Axles: Axial/MIP/STRC Tires: Vanquish Revolver/Panthers/Memory foam WB: 12.5 Overall Width: ? Diff clearance: ? Center Chassis clearance: 2" Overall height: ? Couple changes I made... Only thing I might change from here is BTA steering and maybe some taller tires... Here's my first Crawler. 12 months old now, it has a home-made alloy chassis and Delrin skid. To be more competitive I need to narrow the chassis halves, get better tyres and get a split battery pack on the axles. It's fun as it is though. Here's my 2nd Crawler, a Super Tuber! Tube is alloy from local DIY store brazed with 'Durafix' and home-made Delrin skid. Drag brake sucks - need to get better motors... ESC: 2 x Castle Creations Mamba Max Motor(s): 2 x Novak Crawler 55t Servo(s): 2 x AceRC DS1015 (with Castle BEC) Trans: Stock Clod. Locked with JB Weld Axles: 'Curly Paul' Billet Alloy Gearbox halves, Alloy knuckles and Yeah Racing 17mm wideners/adapters Tires: 40Series MOAB on Axial 40Series Beadlocks WB: 17.50" Diff clearance: 2.25" Center Chassis clearance: 4.75" Radio: DX6i with return spring mod on left stick.
