If your rear motor is already turning the right direction, you only need to time it in the opposite way of normal.

I generally recommend 6 to 12 degrees of timing, depending on whether you want more top end power or low speed torque. The more timing you add, the less low end and more top end you have.

hey John; are you saying i could order (2) 55T motor Torque master pro with timing adjusted for my axial XR10 ; from your website ? your website shows available inventory under "custom". And what pinion should i go for; is it 14t and 13t ?
thanks for fast reply

Depending on your servo, you may or may not need an external BEC. It wound't hurt to have one available to try and see if you notice a difference.

I don't offer the 55t motors in matched pairs. We rarely sell them, and it would take at least a lot of 32 motors to make a statistically useful number of motors for matching. I would probably sit on 32 55t motors for a year We can dyno as set of motors for you however.

Yeah, you could pick them up as a custom wind if the site is out of stock normally. 14t pinion.

Looking for 2 motors for my xr10 I have 55turns with a 14 tooth now and it seems fast enough.

I am looking for more drag brake.
If I go 45t pro matched hand wounds with 0 degree advance if they would have as much torque as my tekin 55 turn machine wound motors, and if I should run 13t or 14t to them, and if they would be alot harder on batterys with them?

I enjoy the battery life I get now with my 55t motors.

Or do you think I should just get 55t pro hand wounds and call it a day?

Holy fast shipping! Ordered Friday, here today. These springs seem different, are the black oxide? My old ones look to be stainless?

Is there a difference other than color?

Next payday I'll be ordering a spare set of motors if all goes as planned. Maybe some of those shiny new team edition ones

It is just the color of them, they are still 15oz springs.

I am looking for a motor for my ax-10, which one should I buy? I like a little wheel speed and am currently running a 14t/90 combo.... I might want an esc as well.... new to this stuff and dont really know what is what....

also the trans has been flipped and the gears are facing forward, so what needs to be done to make it run the best forward (normally reverse)???
