Just curious what these battery packs are intended for.... http://www.holmeshobbies.com/product...&cat=10&page=1 Are they suitable for a super class shaft driven single motor rig or should they be used just for smaller scale trucks. Thanks in advance, Rob |

1.5 amps most of the time, .2 amps every 10th charge and the first few to break it in. Quote:

I just wanted to make sure i have everything on 1 shipment, i am really wanting to go with a 3 cell pack and the balancer you recomend, i wouldn't mind even getting a used 3 cell pack you might want to sell, if not maybe lmk what the 2 cell 2100mah and balancer go for.

Alright, I will look around and see what I can find. I will get you set up before the motor goes out, no worries.

Ive been told that you can use a higher voltage batt than your speedo will take along with the cc bec. Is this true? My speedo is rated for 6 cells, adding the cc bec, will I be able to use a higher voltage battery? Cheers Matt |

John, Here is my situation: SW3 TLT axles CM 850 3S LiPo R2D 8T Pinion I need more wheel speed. Would it be better to gear up or go with the CM 1000 or a combo of both? Let me know your thoughts. John |

ok, here's mine, sidewinder set to auto lipo, ccbec at 6.1v 2s = 2 beeps and arming 3s = 3 beeps and arming 4s = no beeps and smoke coming out of the lipos the 4s is two of the 2s in series, both of the 2s work just fine, and when I put them together they are fine, so my conector is good. but when I plug the 4s set into the truck, I hear a boiling noise and smoke starts coming out of both lipo packs. the lipo's still work, but I am a little leary now that some of the magic smoke has escaped. am I better off ditching them before they become a problem, or assume they will be fine as long as I don't smoke them any more? |

It depends on the ESC. If yours is rated for 6 cells only it probably won't last long on anything more than 6 cells.

Due to space restrictions I need to stay with the 3S. I will order a CM 1000 unless you have something with the same foot print that would be better. Thanks

I think the fast CM may be the best way for you considering the situation. I will have Crawlmasters within a few days now, shipment is on the way. JRH |

The "toasted" lipos still have a charge on them. how do I get rid of these things. short of hooking it to a 12v car charger and leaving it on asphalt a safe distance away? would I hook a light or motor to it and let it run all the way down to neutralize it? or would it still be potentially dagerous? |
