Just as a heads up to all you GSC competitors, if you are able to head out for camping on Friday night we strongly recommend it. The Nampa based Werx RC crew will be out at their camp location not far from ours and will be having a bon fire and night run Friday evening, and comps and a lunch Saturday. Our events will be starting after lunch on Saturday but will we begin our camping Friday night.

When your poor and broke, 2 hours is a long way. I wish I could, just not in the budget. If anyone was already going there from Twin/Burley and I could pitch in a few bucks for gas, that might be a different story.

This is going to be a weekend full of good times, friends, and crawling. Ill be heading up on Friday with some of the Guys. I talked with Greg and Chev at Werx and it sounds like they should have all of Werxs Axial parts\inventory on hand should any one need anything to keep crawling all weekend long. I'm planning on bringing all my tools and a generator should anyone need a soldering iron, dermal, drill, etc...

Dang Scott, that sucks. There were a couple of guys in the CO club when I lived there, that would put their lipo's in a vice and smash it back. I never would risk it. I just lost two of packs, no longer taking a charge in one of the cells. My favorite packs are Tunder Power. Ive also have had good luck with the cheap Turnigy packs. I haven't had very good luck with Max Amps.

Are you camping out at this next comp?

If everything works out I should be there. I cut the plugs off of this one and have it soaking in a solution of salt water. I left the winch controller plugged in since the bonus comp.

That sounds great. We will have our full set up as well inside our enclosed trailer which will include parts, repair tools and good lighting, if anyone is in need of repair or new/used parts. With a big weekend like this, something is bound to break.

Also, we are going to be doing a potluck style dinner Saturday evening. The theme will be 'Potato Bar'. We will be bringing the potatoes and the bacon bit toppings. If you are interested in joining us, please just post up what you can bring. Ideas include toppings like cheese, sour cream, cheese dip, chives, broccoli, chicken, pasta, etc. Other good options would be sides or drinks.

Missed it again for some family time (a happy wife is a happy life gents!), but I am looking forward to living vicariously through pictures (hint, hint..). My loooong term project is inching towards "completion", so I should be able to make it to one of these events sooner or later!

Ha, Ha, that's great.

Karlene and I were talking, maybe on the next comp, too leave the kiddo's with the grandparents; so we can comp and party it up.

Huge thanks to the ZNO crew and all of those that helped out. We had a great time.
