I have almost got the other axle cleaned up enough to asemble it. I have just been working on some small odds and ends pieces while I wait for the frame. Last I had heard most of the major pieces were cut and bent just needed to be braized. No time line for this build! Next week I will be ordering the heims and let me tell you they are huge and rated to over 2000 lbs. Might be overkill but should look the part though. Once those are in and the frame is here I can start the machine work on the links, hope they come out as nice as the full size ones. Thanks for all the coments, Hopefully I can work on this more soon and will keep posting my progress. |

| Are you using a new bright body? I am bouncing between this and a Dakar style hummer. I have only worked on body mods so far but should be ready to cut frame soon.

As far as motor and trans I am still undecided yet but we will see. I wish the 1/5 rc4wd was in my price range!! Last edited by cruiserkb; 04-03-2009 at 07:26 PM. Reason: picture | |
