I think it looks better without the windshield, and you can still make your canvas top work |

| re: 1/6 Wraith/Nylint TJ Jeep + scale quad ...Frame build... ~ step one ~ 1/2" X 1/8" flat bar, mild steel. 220/40 Lincoln 180 mig gets it done. Welded up the saddle and mounted that to the skid plate to be sure I got the alignment right IMO... this stage requires the most precision. as getting the 8 screw holes aligned with the skid... was a little tricky and was less then perfect... So the dremel was administered to oblong a hole or two. Not too far off tho' That outta the way... the remainder should be a walk in the park The front has no interference with the body... And clears the interior's foot wells perfectly. Tho' the rear may require that I channel the interior's sub floor just a little. I'm currently weighing my options on doing that. I bought this over a year ago on sale at Home Depot it not set up and never even been plugged in sits in my shop collecting dust I had big plans for it but once I found how expensive it was to rent a bottle to weld small material now I'm not sure Last edited by kgb424; 06-29-2016 at 03:04 PM. |

I have the Nylint Buggy body. I used the seats in my 1/6 Gladiator build and also the steering wheel. I need do a build like this to make use of the body. Great build you have here!

Awesome job so far. Very thought out fab work. Really liking where you are heading with the build. I like the Quad idea for sure. Maybe one of those ECX Temper or the Redcat Volcano or Everest i think it is called for little $$. |

Hey Taco Chips I got 2 Exceed 1/18 the scale crawlers the Green Chassis is stock except I shoe horned in 380 brushless motor and the second one was made by another person on here and I just never finished them out, cause you really cant beat on them and the 380 motor is probably over kill they don't have the a Chassis that look like the quads but with some aluminum plate you could make a u shaped chassis, like the ones in the quad pictures Or make a small AX10 version frame the Jeep body will work on both chassis but I like the yellow body better it gives a monster truck look Last edited by kgb424; 06-29-2016 at 03:04 PM. |

Hey Taco You could make your own chassis and skid plate and look on here or online and see if you can find MRC axles and a MRC tranny or Exceed axles and a Exceed tranny they make aluminum C- hubs and knuckles and lock outs for the MRC axles they there is no upgraded parts for the Exceed or very limited aluminum parts Last edited by kgb424; 08-21-2015 at 07:34 PM. |

Hey Taco check this out here are 2 1/16 scale quads with riders that are pretty cheesy for been a RC and not very expensive one is $36.00 an the other is $42.00 But I also found this 1/18 scale Quad with no drivers and is pretty bad ass and is die cast not a RC I like it cause there is no drivers, and you might be able to put a Wild Willy Driver in it I would buy the third one my self and make a small flat bed for it and make tie downs and make look scale with loading ramps or you could make a scale trailer like the one you have for your Tacoma you could use a SCX10 axle and Tamiya Leaf Springs and 1.9'' wheels and tires or maybe make it a 1/8 scale trailer or bigger I know you can find 1/10 quad body's that Lexan if you look hard enough you might find a hard body one or a golf cart or a John Deere Tractor in 1/10 scale 1/16 and 1/18 your limited That's why I bought extra's of the Yellow ones Last edited by kgb424; 06-29-2016 at 03:04 PM. |
