Do you know of any stateside shops of vendors that sell the Felsenfest knuckles? That 30 euro's plus shipping is a kick in the pants!!
Thanks man

I do not know of anyone carrying the knuckles, but either one of us could probably drop Kevin a line and see what his thoughts on picking up the line would be. Might be a little out of your time frame but may be a good idea for TCS anyway.

Speaking of Lockers, what is that white grease that is packed in? What is a good replacement for it?

I removed the white grease and replaced it with a standard bearing grease that I use on all my gears.

Nope I will be showing them off this weekend though. Pics after the event unless someone sneaks a pic up.

BTA is completely functional. Just need to pretty it up now. Smokin little setup, super easy.

Just took the rig out for a quick test spin. I didn't weight the wheels yet so that obviously hampered climbing but otherwise WOW.

Just that quick spin completely changed my previous feelings on the mini's. The flex is so smooth, the Mongoose has fantastic power even on 2s and the turning is perfect! The rig feels like it has dig with how tight it turns.

The BTA was a super quick project for time savings and proof of concept. Works great! I want to see if I can make the tie rod out of flat stock. If it can be done easily then this would be a very easy production kit There is no interference with the servo horn at any point. Couldn't be happier with this little bugger right now

Also worth noting again. The RcBro's servo clamps are some of my favorite little pieces to have in my tool box. I bought 3 sets of these awhile back and don't know how I lived without them before. They clamp the servo super tight and no worries of breaking a case (something I used to do on my 2.2).

Shameless plug but I did pay for these things

The steering was SUPER easy, literally took no time to do. I just want to see if I can make it work out of flat stock so that it could be done CHEAP.

Servo seems to be working fantastic. The servo arm is short which makes power feel great and speed is still perfect since it is so fast from the start.

The BTA is awesome. Do you mind taking a pick of how you routed the drag link? Also did you thread out the upper links a little to rotate the axle forward?

I really want to do a mod like this. I'm getting sick of drag link hang up.

Hopefully you will be able to see it in the video. I had to do it real quick before I left for the road trip down to MWC.

Cant see the vid at work but how is your uppers with clearance? I have looked at mine and didnt think it would be to good have tube run threw there so i was think of using flat stock and like you said much easier to work with and cheap. Awesome build i have been lurking this thread from the start.

The clearances are tight but fit just fine. I will try and get the flat stock version done soon.

I drove the rig for the first time tonight although I still don't have any weight in the wheels. Still super happy with it, just needs weight and I am calling it good. Ready to start practicing!
