I would if I had one . I'll probably never get one either lol, I'm happy with my Trekker.

Just proposing the idea since it really has a decent setup for a micro rock bouncer. The only thing that would be troubling is the motor. I'm not sure if it's strong enough to move scrambler tires and mounting a 130 or 180 motor is probably impossible judging from the talk of motor upgrades that was discussed earlier in this thread. You could change out the transmission to one from a trail trekker but you can't find those anymore unless someone has hoarded a few and is willing to sell them. Maybe the Pro line Ambush transmission would work? Is that a fast or slow tranny?

Further to this, I was just thinking a micro U4 class would be awesome!

Still a cool body nonetheless. I’m debating myself whether to get it or not and add a real drivetrain.

PN Racing Mini-Z PNWC 70 Turn Ball Bearing Motor

This one is only rated for 3v wonder if it can handle 2s
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/130-size...que-tuned.html

would that motor and temper trans be a easier swap? or it would still be to fast
Hobbyking basher motor doesn't have mounting holes, no idea how you would make that guy work. Was a painless $4 to find out lol

And here it is. With the camo paint job and with the ibex tranny. How you can see it’s so precise and torque

Andersen, do you know the actual reduction of the Ibex motor gear in the shaft? Because we may get even more reduction using one of this:

Also, are you running 2S?

Look behind, I posted a video, it’s easy. Just take out the original tranny. Make holes on the plate and just put large wires

I ordered my Ibex trans, was about $40 shipped to California from Modelsport UK. Definitely looking forward to lower gears, should be a ton better for crawling. Thought about getting a mini outback body too but I held off since its about $23 US!
