SOFT. Losi Gray=1.6, White=1.8, and Yellow=2.0 are the most common used. Get some thin oil 15wt-30wt. That should get you started.

Thanks for lendin a hand Ryan

Dude, I forgot how weird stock ax-10's look I would move your shocks back to the inside hole. It looks like it sits waayyy too high.

May check out the Axial Racing SWX chassis, or something of that caliber to really get you comp crawling

Thanks TLT, I'll give it a go, just ordered losi's from my lhs And assume a little heavier spring and oil in the front to deal with the 60/40 weight bias! What would I do without you?:-P

You, like me, will come to a point where no matter what you do to your rig, it's not quite right. There is some voodoo secrets not a lot of people talk about and it's their foam setup. I am lost in foam land so I just ordered premade/pretested foams from rcc user nova's ark and I from what I've read it takes guesswork out of foam tuning!! Also excited about supporting a RCC vendor!
AND....Take a look at the comp rules to make sure your rig/body/wheelbase is legal for comps. The best thing I've done for my crawlers is ask a good, experienced local crawler to drive it for me and tell me what he thought!

Not sure on that one. I have never gotten around to buying a CC bec... I think TLTryan told me you have to set it a little above the voltage your going to be running. So 3s is 11.1v, you would need like... 12 volt...

Like I said, im not sure, may just PM him and ask

Ryan said what???

Have Holmes set the BEC to 6v. Some servos can handle 7.4v but Im not sure if yours will. Most servos will operate safely at 6v.

Well without seeing it its hard to say.

I would try to price everything out to see what you could build it for new. If your not saving a lot of money it may not be worth it.

If I'm only saving 15-20% I will usually buy it new, but I usually prefer new stuff anyway. But if I'm saving like 50% and know the previous owner I would buy used.

I guess it depends on how picky you are and what this crawler is worth to you.
