The issue with a shackle lift like I did, is that it can cause pinion angle issues and possible driveshaft angle issues. In the case of a stock TF 2 the shaclkle lift alleviates those last two issues, but had I stayed with the Bruiser Style spring mounting (Shackle at the rear of the spring on the front axle) it would have made both issues worse (this is why I went back to shackle in front.

Lift blocks can cause the mount to act as a bigger lever and increase leaf spring wrap...but alas, BM has the perfect solution to that as well with their ladder bar
I looked at BM's web site...I see no mention of this "ladder bar" Tozrovr...I'm a little confused about this reference...can you enlighten me ? Thanks in advance...

Well that didn't work. Go to BM. On left at bottom of column find Yota axle/Trailfinder 2 and click on it. It will show up then.

Raceeng...thanks for clearing that up

So I saw that....I need one for front and rear ???
All of a sudden the lift kit cost me $60 plus shipping...so if I don't get the Antiwarp bar...what happens?

I don't know. I ordered the lift blocks the other day and they haven't arrived. However, I saw a post in the TF2 tips and tricks that said if you run the helper leafs on top of the main leaf it will prevent axle wrap up. I have been doing that since I read it and have not experienced any axle wrap up. I'll know more next week after trying the BM lift blocks. I have not ordered the Anti-wrap bar and I hope I don't need to after lifting the truck.

Anti-wrap bar is only for out back.

By using lift blocks, you're increasing the leverage placed on the spring, where it mounts to the axle spot you can experience more leaf wrapup upon acceleration.

As an aside, my 1.55 rock stompers are larger than many 1.9's and I have no issues with just the shackle lift (1/8" of lift).

So, if I went with a 1.9 wheel...no worries ?
What of I Left the 1.55's on ?

Sorry, not sure I understand the "outback" you refer to

Not sure I like the Antiwarp addition . I want to run 1.55 wheels and the stock stuff that came with the TF2...easiest mod so far would be to leave It alone.
But eventually want to run a 1.9 wheel with either IROK's or TSL swampers (1.9 wheel)...sounds lIke if I ran those tire/wheel combos then I need to run an Antiwarp bar.....along with the BM lift kit....

Yes??

Thanks for being patient with my lack of knowledge...

what 1.9 tires are you thinking about? Size is dependent on the type of tire. For example, the 1.55" IROK is 4.5" Tall, whereas the 1.9" Swamper TSL SX is only 4.3" Tall.

The 1.9" Proline Flat Irons are 4" tall, but the 1.55" Rock Strompers are 4.13" tall.

I haven't had any issues at all, I've tested the hell out of this thing....I have yet to use any 1.9, the stompers are almost as tall as most 1.9's.

Here is the reason I've ordered the lift from BM. 1.55 wheels with the Super Swampers.

The RC4WD body lift kit would fix your issue too. The reason I went with a body lift instead of a chassis lift is to keep the chassis CoG the same.

Actually Katan I've ordered both. I will try each and see which one works best for me. I like the new tires I purchased from RC4WD and would really love to use them with the body on the chassis.

The COG changes regardless, but less with the body lift.

Yes, the larger OD tires will lift the whole truck and raise the CoG and the the body weight will affect the CoG. But not as much as lifting the whole truck.

I just checked my tracking info for both lifts. They should be here today. I 'll start with the body lift.

sure like the look of those swampers...and looks like I could do a body lift and get away with it. The swamper was my choice of tire...did not realize how tall they were on the 1.55 wheel though...
nice stance raceeng18
Lots of good input here guys....

With the bodylift and suspension lift, you should be able to clear those swampers since you also trimmed the valence.
