How tall is she? I am still trying to decide on a driver myself. How about a white walker behind the wheel ? lol

I started breaking the Troyota down and making room on the bench.
So I grabbed the HH puller pro and swapped it out.
The 3500kv was Awesome! But a little much.. so I'm going to test the 2700kv Stubby, out..
I'm sure it should be plenty of speed, on 4s.. the low end should improve, at the same time..

Then I pulled the front axle. Time to lock the C's, down and get the new leafs, under it..

I figured, while I have this apart, I might as well get the aluminum VP shock towers, welded on..
Never hurts to have a extra scale point..

Where it starts..

Don't need body posts..

But let's get it ready for the welds!

Not sure why I took the time to make the screws fit.. the front screw would have been good enough, to hold it till it's welded.

And the front leafs..

Going to the weld shop, tomorrow afternoon.

Drill and tap a couple holes in the C's..
Put motor back together, from waterproofing..
maybe, mount a servo winch..
Trucks almost ready!

Welded.. I would of preferred, more welding.. tho, it's not very thick, so he got them burnt on, without ruining anything. I would complain, but free is free.. lol..

And painted..

Ready for assembly..

After going all this way, for a dam scale point.. I realized it was probably a good thing.. as my knuckle bearing's were shot!

And my passenger axle was sloppy!

So I swapped them out, made a new shaft, and gears my ring and pinion..
Moving forward!

A little more done.. trying to figure out this servo winch, placement..
Which lead to battery placement..
This is what I came up with..

It doesn't effect the body, any..

Now I'm going to have to figure out my electronics..
Depending on how the battery messes with the wiring, under the interior..

Nice work, as always.
How'd that go? With the 3300kv S and the MMX?

It seems like it's been hit or miss with the Mamba Micro X / Stubby combo regardless of kv. Nice and smooth on some trucks, a bit glitchy at low speeds on others. It's been mixed enough that I'm thinking of ditching the MMXs for BLEs or the new Mamba Xs.
