Shane, your truck looks Great! Between the paint job, bed, and steering mod (of course!) Lol..

Maybe we will get lucky enough to run together this year!?

I'm pretty stoked to run the 2200kv Puller Pro "S"..

If the 2 speed still doesn't tickle my fun bone.. I'll be after a single speed or gear the truck for just 1st gear happiness.

I just went through and saved all your pics of the steering mod and took screenshots of the thread lol!
As for the motor...I actually have that same one sitting for mine. Will be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

Lol.. Nice!

I'm actually kinda worried, for the drive train, about putting this motor in.. :/

It holds up under 3s, HH 13t Powah.. But there is Zero quit, in these BL motors..
Weak points will be found!

If the 2200 breaks stuff, imagine what the 3300 will do in mine...

Nice work, as always.

With the steering mod do you have ever to remove the stock shock mounts?

I think the deciding factor, with either, will be gearing and throttle finger.

Like end, torque, and Powah, should all be pretty equal..
The 3300kv pulling away, with top speed. Which I know, for me, is the most parts breaking part.
We won't bring the torque into it, that just twists and snaps parts! (On my XJ)

To keep the stock width, I found it needed to remove them.

I like new stuff! ;)

So there is a little hype about this.. A read a post or 2, that JRH mentioned this ESC with the 2200kv S, but I never really considered it "up to the task" of my driving/wants..

Then I read a post t that someone started, mentioning using this same setup, on there rig.

Soooooooo..

Wth... Let's give it a go!

Upgrading to a WP BLE later is easy, but not testing and having real world knowledge, is a waste of support and knowledge!

Not highjacking but here is how I did my front shock mounts with steering mod. I wasn't smart enough to make them like Troy.
I am using Gelande shock hoops.
Sixth picture down.

First things first.. Figure this ESC out! Lol..
I missed a part of the reading, or something..
Anyways, I figured out where the sensor cable goes..

The little black chip board pulls out from behind the RX cables..
And the little dots tell me so! ;)

Time to pull the brushed Powah and prep for the brushless Powah!

Get some things situated and cut some wires..

Motor mounted and pinion set.

Now for the prepping, for all conditions
