Actually.. Update.. The Troyota hold's is 4th 1st place, now! Another Rausch Creek comp down and another W! A replacement heart showed up. As I have one of my Super motors in it now. But instead of the HH 13t Team Pro crawl going back in, I'm going to be running a HH 13t Crawlmaster Pro w/check point endbell. Just got it back from HH rebuild, with a new armature to go with it! Next stop for this truck... ECSC!!! Which is at the end of this month. Not sure of is going to be my C1 or C2 rig yet. Maybe both! ;) |

I'm running Curries on my TF2 and I'm not really happy with them, I like a lot you solution but I was wondering how did you center the outer bearings and if you used a Dremel to cut down the VVDs (would the SCX10 size VVDs would be enought for the Yota axles?) Thanks. G. |

I just used the axle housing as a guild and stepped up my bit size, as I went, till the bearing fit. It's not 100% needed in that spot, so it's just there for "moral" support, IMO.. Lol.. I didn't find the scx vvd shaft to have enough engagement, for my liking. That's why I went with the wraith inner shafts. That and I used them on my scx with the wraith stub shafts. So it just worked out for me. The cheapest way to go, would just get a single long side vvd shaft, from VP.. Hope it helps! | |

Awesome truck build. I have read through it a few times checking out all the tweaks. I have ordered the parts to put the SCX setup up front.Question. I ordered some Wraith VVD's. Reading back over your thread, I am wondering if the wraith stub shafts will work with the scx chubs and knuckles. Edit, Answered my own question. Ordering up some SCX stub shafts, pins and collars. .... Last edited by Szczerba; 08-25-2015 at 08:10 PM. |

I'm not going to lie.. I'm pretty humbled guys! It's awesome to see this mod being addressed and used in other build. Can't wait to see if it's upgraded on. I have a spare front axle, just in case it is.. Actually, the reason I have a second one is: I was going to try and work out a axle for a C2, using XR steering. I figure it can be wider on a C2, so it will give room for the extra steering and tires, before hitting the leaf's. ;) The C1 width was the reason for the scx setup on the first axle.. To use XR steering, too much of the axle would have had to come off.. Which would have brought the steering in further and there for would have lost steering. (I think). |

Freakin sick TF2, man you guys are making me want to build one more and more! Did you use a drillpress or free-hand the axle housing ends for the Axial SCX steering knuckle mod? Last edited by Natedog; 10-13-2015 at 06:05 PM. |

That's F'd up!!! WTF!? I just checked some of my old threads, and all them pics are there.. I thought maybe getting a new phone screwed it up.. But not on the other threads.. Which sucks, cause they are dead threads and this one is very much Alive! :'( |

OK, so 3 months later and I decided it was time for a change.. This little bugger is Tiny! I won this this awesome HH motor at the ECSC last fall.. As all my other scale rigs are brushless and 1st is all torque/no speed or 2nd is no torque/all speed.. I could either gear up and run one gear or swap motors and enjoy both still |
