I just don't understand why there aren't more people jumping on this ride. Supers are incredible. Great build. |

Looking good. You asked me how those links fit with a clocked axle. To make the link clear on mine I just simply moved it to the front of the delrin pieces attached to the knuckles. I tried it with them on the back and it hit the axle. So far I couldnt be happier with my turbotech steering links. |

Looking good Bob. IMO, that is too much flex. I have been limiting the flex in my super lately (no down to lifting one tire about 6") and I am quite happy with it. Oh, and you are going to need much thicker shock oil than you expect. I am now up to 1500cts oil with both internal and external springs in my super. Last edited by JeremyH; 10-14-2011 at 01:04 PM. |

MAN THATS SOME HEAVY SHOCK OIL, THESE THINGS ARE BIG AND HEAVY. WHERE DOES THE BACK OF YOUR SKID SET AT RIDE HIEGHT? I'M HAVING A LITTLE TROUBLE GETTING THE MOTORS TO CLEAR THE SERVOS' , I MADE THE MOUNTS FLUSH WITH THE AXLE TUBE, I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A BIGGER PINION TO GET IT BACK FURTHER, THOUGH I GUESS IT WOULD'NT HURT WITH THE 35T MOTORS.

A bigger pinion will make them faster. IIRC, I am running the 12t pinions and I have plenty of room for the 7980's. Not sure what the ride height is, but it has been getting lower lately. I know that the top of my cab sits lower than the top of the tires.... |

Are you using a soft spring still? Or are you saying you need stiffer oil only? I'm thinking a soft spring and a heavier oil because of the weight of the axles.

My shock setup is as follows: Front = 2 hole pistons, Losi White outer springs, TCS soft inner springs, 1500 cts oil Rear = 2 hole pistons, Losi Red outer springs, TCS soft inner springs, 1500 cts oil Before my next run, I plan to switch to stiffer front inner springs. |

but my radio can make it slower right? And right now my chassis at the top shock mount is as high as my tires.

I agree with jeremy about limiting the travel though. Mine is probably on par with Jeremy's in the 6" tire lift range. Also...I notice that your rear axle looks like its clocked back quite a bit. you're goin to want to level that out with either longer rear lowers or shorter uppers.
