EeePee, when you said you lowered the body, wouldnt you have to trim the gaurds or the tires would catch big time.

I think he is using his pro line buschwacker body same as i am ,and the wheelbase is tad longer, so you can lower the body a little more than the stock one.

Yes, I'm using the Proline body for now. New? Why yes... Got battery!!!?? HAHAHAHAAAAAA ha! Big thanks to MaxAmps for this monster. I put a 45 turn Integy motor in place of the stock motor to ease the load on the Tekin FXR. But I might go to a 35 turn for some giggles, or back to the stock motor and see what the Tekin can handle. I also put the electronics trays back in place and cleaned up the wiring. I also put the rear shock in the lower inboard hole of the cantilever arm. This still gets me full travel of the shock, but limits the droop so it can't flip the linkage the wrong way. So it's like, half JIA's mod, and half mine. It also changed the rate of the linkage's effect on the shock. |

Thanks yo. If this hobby is about having fun, this truck is all about it. Awesome ride. Oh, and if I hold a tire, the wheel slips. On all four. |

Hey thanks, yeah I should do something about them slipping but that's probably what's keeping my driveshafts from getting all retarded. Like a servo saver for the driveshafts. A driveshaft saver. They were fine until I got everything all wet. I used to pull wheelies with it, but now I got the driveshaft savers kicking in... |

| Hey, so what do you think if I drove this thing roof deep in water that the only thing that saved all my electronics was the chance that there was a big air pocket created by the body? Cause I drove it roof deep and everything still worked. I thought it was a goner. |

I imagine the pack will last for way longer than I care to drive in one day, that's fo sho. After it went for a swim everything worked, I drove it home. And I have little foamies on the body posts, so maybe airtight? Yeah I doubt it too. Today, the ESC is telling me it's not receiving a signal. Might have lost a Spektrum receiver. |

With that battery you should be able to run it in your 1:1 to the crawl spot, put the battery in you crawler, crawl all day, and then put it back in your 1:1 to get home...

| I crashed my Helicopter in my pool and thought I fried the spectrum Receiver. I took it out and hit it with a hair dryer and let it set for a few days. It has been working for a few months now.

It doesn't take forever if you go on a building bender, then it only takes about ten hours. I've not done any more to the truck, it's good fun as it is. The few mods I've done are probably what I'd recommend to anyone building it. Swap the springs so the heavy are in the back, run without the front stabilizer bar, and run the thick one in the back. The spacers under the upper links in the back are a good thing too. I've driven the truck a lot and went to charge the battery just being interested how many Mahs I'd put back in. I laughed, it was only 1267. I guess just cruising around doesn't eat up the battery too much. People think I'm walking a little dog until they get close. I seriously think I could drive this thing to Cleveland and back and not need to charge it. In fact, today seems like a good day to go for a cruise... check out people's BBQ's, grab a burger and run! |
