Hey guys. The stock tires just aren't working well enough in the trail comps I'm competing in with this thing. But I really liked the look and size of em. I grabbed my wheels and tires from my 2.2 Clod, weighted with BBs and all. They actually tuck in a little more than the stock set up, good. Old Moabs and HPI Nitro something wheels. I stuck a mini Moab I made on the back. I also moved the transmission forward by using the more forward bolt holes in the skid. That centralized the transmission, and moved the motor to a point just barely making contact with the upper link. Good enough, and weight forward. I used Stampede driveshafts and plastic yokes to get everything mated up. Good to go. The 5000 mah 3S MaxAmps lipo pack is just ridiculous. Besides lasting forever, the voltage with a 35 turn motor is too funny, and serious fun to drive. I kinda wish it'd go a little slower, but the fun factor is high, very. I kinda like it with these wheels, but I don't know, I need to try something not so, on road looking. |

Eh it drives kinda stupid now! In a good way. Give it gas and it won't steer well. Let off and it drag brakes into a nose stand. I'm not complaining though. |

Looks sick with the tire on the back, I was thinking about doing that with mine, but figured the extra weight would mess up its crawling ability.

Took the truck out and when there's water, we all know what happens. Of course it's too much fun to stop and take pictures, so I have none of those. Got it home and took off the top to find this mess. I really need to put my electronics in a water tight box already. I'm testing the Electronics Gods way too often. Still works fine but I don't like the looks of that, nor do I like smell of the motor. |

Hmmm, maybe I can fit the FXR and a Spektrum mini receiver inside the Slash's waterproof receiver box.
