Vaterra HD Pinion Gears & HD Driveshafts Info

HMM! So it seems the breakage is random.

I built mine exactly like the manual says. Only deviation was where I mounted the steering servo. I mounted using the optional mounts so it is cross wise in the frame.I set the slipper like the manual states. I've got a good 20 hours+ of crawling time on it. Some on loose dirt hills, some on hard narley rocks.

Pinion is suppoed to arrive the 28th of january from my LHS

Sorry I didn't update sooner. HD Shafts are in stock. The Pinion gears left a little later than the shafts. I expect them to be here sometime this week and in stock no later than early next week...assuming they get through customs ok.

Here is a screen shot from the Vaterra site showing most of the parts. For some reason the 90mm link is not showing. At this point, we are not working on an under or overdrive gear set. If we get enough demand from our consumers and dealers, we will but at this point, there are no plans.

Well if not different ratios. Why not some HD bevel cut gears to smooth things out.

We have them in our California warehouse today, so they should start shipping out today for any shops or customers that ordered them.

It may be a few hours. I released them yesterday into our inventory but i'm not sure how quick flags and switches are flipped to get them active. They should start processing today but honestly i don't know how long that will take.

I think it would be a really good idea thats what make axial axles so popular besides their durability... Underdrive is what I would mainly be interested in.

Is it just me or are all the hop up parts suddenly on back order? Was really hoping on getting the new pinion right away :-(

My pinions are still on backorder since December, hopefully I receive them soon, I got sick of buying $30 replacement sets and I have a big event this weekend
