Check out some of our build threads. Especially natedog's ascender build. TONS of info there. These trucks rock right out of the box and really don't NEED much but like anything can benefit from a few choice upgrades. Mine was a RTR version and all of the hard parts and electronics have held up great to my inexperience and many hard crashes. Check out my build thread called "my baby blazer" and you can see what I've done and where I've gotten things from too. Have fun, try different things and most important, wheel the heck out of it! I would go through it and at least lube the rear ends, do the tranny too if you feel comfortable, oil the driveshaft joints, not the slip joints though, and lube the front axle cvd's after you get them in time, bet they're 90 degrees off. Also, put blue loctite on the driveshaft set screws at the transmission output shafts. They always back out mid run and ruin your day if you don't have the tools with you. Ben |

Nice! Still keep an eye on the set screws but the loctite will surely help. They are to a of fun I love mine too. Take some trail pictures so we can see where your truck goes on it's adventures. Ben |

Metal servo horn was a must for me, and a little stronger servo. Couldn't stand how limited it was turning one direction (right, if I remember correctly).

You will like the rc4wd rims and tires. Finally mounted up my rims and tires and reading a few places that they are tricky and they certainly are. Took me a while until i figured out all the tips i read up on.

I recently purchased a bronc myself. This is the first rc that I plan on leaving parts alone until they break. I did purchase GCM pinion adapters so I can run MIP driveshafts and some SSD diff covers to protect the gears. I also baked the tires off in my garage rc dedicated toaster oven. I picked up some crawler innovations foams for them. I will be running the stock tires with some nice aluminum bead locks (no glued plastic wheels for this guy). Overall amazing truck. The parts quality is far above the curve. |

| Re: Newbie lol! You sound like me with having to wait until dark to get out and play sometimes. I work on my rig after my wife and daughter are asleep. Sometimes I get up a little early for work to get a little tinker time in too. These things are addictive! |
