I made a driver for the SSD bolts, stole the idea from Natedog and others on the forum!!! Really simple what they have done to make one. Get any 3mm screw that takes a 2mm driver, attach the screw to a handle of some kind and now you have yourself a tool for those tiny little SSD bolts. I'm sure the others will chime in with pics too. |

That is genious! Thanks again! Not happy with the ssd link kits. The threaded shafts that secure the rod ends are too short 8( After installing them, there is only about 4mm left to go into the rod ends. The shorter of the stock hardware is much too long, and leaves about 10mm... So guess im gonna have to shorten the stock ones... All 20 of them. Grrrrrrr |

The diff covers and wheels, very happy with them, and I just put a 3x16 cap head into the stock panhard bar tovmake a beadlock wrench... Works perfectly

Why don't you thread them into the rod ends first and see where they bottom out and how much is left to go into the Ti link? The threads in the link are going to be much stronger then the plastic threads in the rod end and won't need to be threaded in as far to provide adequate strength. | |

If I bottom them out in the link only 3 to 4 mm are left.

| Re: I bought a blazer kit.... I agree 100%. I voiced my opinion to SSD and they said it was fine as-is. I've never seen links with such short threaded screws. They are easily replaced, but you shouldn't have to.

Fuel line works perfect Nate! Thanks for the reply Jato, those grubs are just silly short for the application, and is a shame to ruin an awesome package like that. For me at least, they were not really worth the price because of it. It added an hour of labor to putting them on. Now, ssd could have saved themselves money by simply drilling their links deep enough to accept the stock grubs. |

CODYBOY Engineering definately will take care of you. It's hard to get stuff right from across the country making prototypes, especially when the customer is a bit less technical than the designer lol. The price is a killer value with such great customer service |
