Last night I had the time to install my new beef tube axle in the rear of Bulldog Bronco. Close to 2.75 oz. of non rotating mass. Also installed a version of the SXC10ii unis moddded ascender axle. Also had time to get started on another batch of axles. One of my favorite tools in my shop! Thanks for looking. Ernie, Last edited by CODYBOY; 08-22-2016 at 09:34 PM. |

| Re: Codyboy's "bulldog bronco" ascender I'm working with Poprivet on his challenge, he is using SSD ar60 housings with a wide XR steering set-up.I'm pretty sure his fix is the same as what I'm trying next for the ascender/scx10ii axle mod. I would just need to do a beef tube to fit his axle, and SSD c hub. Ernie, Quote:

Ok Pete, (and anyone else interested) Here is some photos of my latest changes to the SCX10ii uni mod. I turned these knuckles so I can add my home brew brass brake weights. The bronco got some new shoes and wheels. I have three front and rear beef tube axles ready to go! Thanks for looking. Ernie, Last edited by CODYBOY; 08-08-2016 at 04:47 PM. |

And did you mean second to Poprivet's U.N.C.L.E!!, I don't think so!! Or was there another rig you were thinking about? Are you going to run your ascender there? I've been thinking about finishing the Ibec Camaro build also. We will see how my health cooperates. Ernie | |

Second to me would be more like 6th place. Actually, if its U.N.C.L.E. it's more like a DNF. Last edited by Poprivet; 07-25-2016 at 06:23 PM. |
