Last night I had the time to install my new beef tube axle in the rear of Bulldog Bronco. Close to 2.75 oz. of non rotating mass.

Also installed a version of the SXC10ii unis moddded ascender axle.

Also had time to get started on another batch of axles.

One of my favorite tools in my shop!

Thanks for looking.
Ernie,

I'm thinking if they will it would solve the problem with the axle side panhard mount being to far in after the wide xr mod is done. I like that vaterra has that mount on the c-hub.

Way to use your noodle Ernie.
Get the ssd chubs and vaterra knucks

That doesn't solve the problem of the vaterra cvds and you get more steering for Codyboy's setup

I'm working with Poprivet on his challenge, he is using SSD ar60 housings with a wide XR steering set-up.I'm pretty sure his fix is the same as what I'm trying next for the ascender/scx10ii axle mod. I would just need to do a beef tube to fit his axle, and SSD c hub.

I don't think this would be something everyone would want or need. I'm just working on a option that some could use. It isn't going to be cheaper or better than the stock ascender steering, just a option to the shortage of ascender cvds with a little more steering.

Ok Pete, (and anyone else interested) Here is some photos of my latest changes to the SCX10ii uni mod.

I turned these knuckles so I can add my home brew brass brake weights.

The bronco got some new shoes and wheels.

I have three front and rear beef tube axles ready to go!
Thanks for looking.

The craftsmanship is amazing. I envy your skills and your ingenuity. Are those SSD wraith knuckles?

Thanks Di_Spencer, and good eyes, they are almost a perfect fit to the SSD ascender c hub.

Looking good Ernie. I'm really liking those new shoes.
What compound did you go with on those voodoos?

Thanks Nate, I'd like to get it done and on the rocks but things keeps getting the way, working on a option for the brake weights, and a Bad PSA count.

Ok Ben, if I didn't know any better I'd think you were picking on me!. I had a lot of side to side slop in my TF case so took it out to shim it. You don't think I can get power to the axles that way????

Hey Jon, we are working on it. Not sure yet how we would work out a place for our Motor home.
And did you mean second to Poprivet's U.N.C.L.E!!, I don't think so!! Or was there another rig you were thinking about? Are you going to run your ascender there? I've been thinking about finishing the Ibec Camaro build also. We will see how my health cooperates.

Second to me would be more like 6th place.

Actually, if its U.N.C.L.E. it's more like a DNF.
