OK, I'll run with this... 4-40 though out pocket for SLW hub One thing that has always bugged me about plate style wheels was being able to see the hub boss or worse yet having to clearance it for the screw head (.062" faces) so I'll pocket out the back side to hide it. Been a long time since I've seen a VP wheel but I'm sure they do the same.  |

Some days it would be nice to just draw in the sand with a stick Part programming on all sides - Done. Ring 1st OP fixture programming - Done. Ring 2nd OP and Wheel 1st and 2nd OP fixture - I'm thinking a multi step soft jaw affair that will work with the three different diameters. Maybe after dinner. Fixturing, it's a love/hate relationship. I love to hate it. The "spacers" are just geometry place holders for where I bolt the raw stock onto the fixture.       |

6 wheels worth of blanks...  Fixture plate squared up and ready for drilling and tapping. Also found the perfect way to hold the faces/hoops, the 3 jaw lathe chuck... Lol.  |
