Saw that in your thread. It should look sweet with that chassis painted. There is a reasonably price Bug body in the forsale section if you want to upgrade that. What color you painting the chassis?

Not sure on color as it wont be final color just a temp thing and my thread got deleted my mistake this morning trying to see if it can be brought back and im getting away from a shell and making panels for it

Change your mind on making a 2.2 class 3 style scaler? Would be bad ass like the one in the 2.2 section!

Nah its still going to be scaler but more of a dune buggie design instead of a bug

Didnt realize how much more I'd like the CMS until I did it on my SCX. Much cleaner looking and really makes a difference with moisture intensive trails. Seeing as I haven't dipped my servo yet it was probably a good idea.

Yah it sure will look better with the CMS. Due to how the body is I am going to have to make a linkage with a turnbuckle. I have a trade for an ESC here soon so when the rig is down will go to it and mke it.

Tried it with 1.9s the other day and all I gotta say is no thanks. I mean it wasnt horrible but not what I am after. I think part of the reason is the set up of the truck is for 2.2 and also its hard to get alot of weight in the tires on 1.9 so I couldnt get them as heavy as my 2.2 are. It looks pretty sweet with the 1.9 though. Picked up a set of 2.2 swampers that are going on soon.

Swampers will definitely help keep the scale look going. Good thing about TSL tires, 1.9 or 2.2; they are tall and have a ton of space for weight.

I learned a lesson last night......

Don't drink and drive.......................

My bro came over and we were drinking a few which is odd for me as I rarely drink but we dug out the RCs and my truck took a beating. I broke a front axle off and due to my condition kept on going. Within 10mins I snapped my rear axle off at the hex. Luckily I have all the parts in my growing parts pile.

fixed my axles yestarday and decided I am going to tear it down and repaint. I also noticed that I broke a braze joint in my craziness on the sliders. Will post some pics when I get it freshened up.

I traded them for a set of 1.9 TSL but after running the TSL 1.9 I decided to go back to 2.2 as I missed how awesome it crawled.
