I'm not exactly sure. But I do know I have a fast wraith and a slow wraith. If I had a two speed I would only need one wraith lol. Anyone else have everywhere with the wraith 2 does trannys?

What did you do the trans in your wraiths and I'm way over thinking it because it's just a spur gear but I'm thinking all metal gears spur and all internal gears metal also and a set of mip drive shafts

I don't like all metal spurs. To loud. But I do like the metal internal gears. I just fill ERM tight with grease to keep the noise down

I might just do the axial steels gears inside with 32p gears and mip drive shafts i also need to get a new trans case becaus one of my mounting screws that mounts the trans to the skid is striped out

There you go. I picked up a hot racing trans on eBay. That has steel gears and aluminum housing. I've been waiting for a stock one to go out to release it with. But haven't needed it yet.

The MIP spine shafts will help allot. The stock ones really like to twizzler up when brushless power is applied. What motor and ESC are you going to run?

I have the RC4WD 2 speed trans in 3 trucks. They have held up just fine with a 35 turn/3S combo.....big brushless power will most likely snap the input shaft. That's the word I hear on the forum anyway. They do make an HD replacement shaft but I haven't heard if it'll hold up better.

I could buy a bomb proof complete trans for 200 but I'm not sure I want to spend that much to upgrade to brushless in three years lol I'm thinking about the Rc4wd trans not sure yet

one thing I kept around was the scaler to force me to get out and it was head clearing/good stress reliever time.
