I actually put it together last night with the one driveshaft,(missing pin for other shaft from the kit) and it is not as fast as my wraith I think. I need 4wd and rocks to try it out on of course but I think it may work. Gearing was 87-13. For $10 I'm not really worried. I nosed it up to the steps and did a slow burnout, trying to simulate a load and it looked ok. Curious to see how hot it will get running all day.

I'd give it a shot. You'll have to play with the gear ratios to find the happy medium of speed and torque versus heat. BL motors definitely don't like water though.

I've been running my 18.5 havoc for 4 years on 3s, during that its been swimming 3 times, cooked a stator due to overheat on a hot day, both bearings seized out of nowhere, overall its been an awesome motor I watch the motor temps when it gets warmer out or a lot of high speed otherwise it barley gets warm to the touch.

I got a new spur and slipper out of a new dead bolt coming so I'm going to put it in my wraith it's a 32pitxh so I will be running 56 14 gearing

You're going to want an 11 or 10 tooth pinion. I think I have 11 and I get kinda hot still.

Well seeing as my trooper broke and I can't go crawling I guess I will just open this here new can of plasti dip and get to work lol got 2 esc and 2 receivers with a third waiting for more servo extensions and maybe a servo
