You were missed, Mr. Prez! I'm just lucky I can get out to play a little here and there. Let me tell ya, I ain't gonna get much done at work tonight though . We put on some miles (feet and tires)!

Some day I'll have to get up to HTO and try out that course. I need to do some shopping there anyway.

Or he could run one of mine, if Dad's insurance will cover it .

Yeah, he is a lil wild . I think part of the broken servo issue is the big tires, smaller 2.2's for bashing would prolly cut down on that. I'd trust him to run my stuff...you've seen ME drive, right?

Good prices on Power HD and TowerPro servos here...and they come from IL, so no waiting for international shipping. I've bought some stuff from them in the past and they are a good company.

What # Hitec Servos? I've never had a problem with Hitec servos, I ran a 5645 on my TT. & my comp rig. They were a little under-powered for the comp rig I thought, but otherwise were great...Survived many times being submerged....

The Brand new Spektrum servo I got with the Dx3E was F'n junk out of the box, Made my radio unbind, & simply wouldn't work with my AM or FM radios...

I just picked up one of the PowerHD per Walter's suggestion, seems like a decent servo for the $$, over 200+ oz/in for like $15

I have a suspicion that the PowerHD's are made by Hitec...The h-logo on the PowerHD looks just like Hitecs logo....& I know hitec makes servos for other companies (Hobbico, Tower Hobbies, etc)

We're using the 645MG and he keeps stripping the gears out.

Too many endo's and cartwheels .
645's are decent servos, but there are better ones out there. Those HD's are really inexpensive, good numbers too. You could buy a couple of those for the same bucks as some others, and have a backup in the parts box . I've heard good things about the higher end Tower Pro's also. Maybe he needs a servo saver for non-comp running?

Yeah, I was actually thinking of putting on a saver. I'm messing around with some servos right now. Maybe I'll run to the hobby store tomorrow.

I like the Kimbrough HD unit, ran that on my race Pede w/o an issue. If it's gonna hurt him for comping, you could always swap it out for a solid arm (for comps) and run the saver for play. Much better than replacing servos all the time .

Sounds good, hope you can make it to the GTG!

HH Torque Master Pro 35T and 2 3S 4900 lipos comin' my way, so much for cutting back on rc spending .

I really needed some new packs though. Most of mine had a full summer's worth of abuse on them .
