NC? Did the military play a cruel joke on you? All I can say is...I'm sorry. But....you'll learn how to deal with humidity and you've got some great camping and scaling hours away. Poodle.

i do have a small update. did some grinding and came up with this so itll be super easy to weld the bumpers to the chassis. removed part of the c channel ground a slot on the bumper where chassis is supposed to be. and here it is fitted. ill be having it welded up tomorrow i hope.. lol nothin is ever for sure.. i also have tim (warpig) fabing me up a custom delrin skid esp for this build. stay tuned. |

The chassis is looking sweet! It's a bummer you didn't get CA. You could come down and see some of my unfinished builds! |

yahh cali woulda been sick but gotta roll with the punches. my way of doin flat fenders from the stockers... not finished have a special treat to finish these off. step 1 fill gaps... i used metal infused 2 part epoxy step 2 sand smooth.. step 3 apply 2 layers of thin fiberglass i think its 1 or 2 oz glass... not sure but hella thin.. step 4 trim edges and sand to your desired smoothness. (tech note) once dried, trimmed, and sanded, apply a thin coat of resin to the surface and it will dry smooth... finish sanding with a high grit paper 320 or higher for that baby smooth finish. got the chassis welded up. now im waiting on the skid i had made from Tim aka warpig so ill be able to utilize honcho links on the 13" wb. this is gonna be so sick when done. still gotta make d-ring/shackle mounts and stubby stinger of sorts. as soon as i get the skid holes drilled up i can start on the sliders and front trans mount and cms.. ect ect... getting close to turning into a roller. just a few more things. thx for looking stay tuned.as with all my builds comments and suggestions welcome. Killer fenders! I wish I would have done something like that before I chopped them off. I'm gonna go with the poison spider ones. Great work on this Eddie. I'm going to steal some of your ideas as it seems i'm heading in a similar direction with my build. I don't have a build thread for it yet but, It's kinda like my secondary C2 rig and substitute C1 rig. Haha |

Nice work on the fenders. I like the fiberglass idea. The metalwork looks sharp! Great job there. |

skid came in and got the trans mount brazed in. tryin to keep things as low as possible. as for the skid i had it made with 2 1/4" spacing between front and rear link mounts so i can use "honcho" length links and get the 13" wb i needed dont worry the servo is only there cause its on a mock up axle this will have cms and panhard. height at full bump. my front shock towers will be 1.125" tall w/ 110mm shocks and 13/16 rear hoops w/ 100mm shocks even with this my center height is 2 9/16" of clearance.
