All thats left is a few minor things to fab up and make the front upper link, panhard and draglink. Then testing and paint.

Thumbs up re: KC's Newbright JK

Most excellent BUILD!

And yes, build is all in CAPS on purpose. Your build is very well thought out, detailed and custom. Your attention to scale dimension seems spot on, the tolerances and symmetry of your cage work is amazing

I guess anyone can click, click, click on the Internet and purchase every bolt on part available and assemble an RC, but I personally enjoy the "Builds" and the effort involved.

I have enjoyed watching this transgress from the beginning and look forward to seeing the updates until it's finished. Keep up the Awesome work

Very nice work. I'm definintly watching this one for some ideas. Question though, where did you find the fiberglass and resin? I might have to give that a try with the flairs on my Jeep, and to help strengthen a few areas on the body.

I got mine from work. Although it can be found online and most coastal surf shops.
Ill point out the getting resin to stick to plastic is very hard. Once you get the peice prepped go at it with some very low grit paper. This will create little cuts and slots for the resin to seep into and grab and hold on. I had to do the driver flares 3 times due to delaminating.

And thx man.

So can you find any rocks around you? I don't know if it was North or South Carolina I was in, but there was one place that was nothing but clay and pine trees.

no rocks here. thers a dealership that has some im thinking of aquiring. but as far as natural terrain you gotta make a 3-4 hour trip west to get closer to the mountains. this place is a complete shit hole.

Great shot! Running partial droop? Full droop? It looks close. Judging from the pic, it looks like you're going to need some more tread to work through the terrain. I'm feeling your pain on the move. The only upside is that you can get sweet tea by the gallon anywhere you go...

More pics!

Running mosttly droop. I like to run my shocks soft as hell but use anti rock for for roll stability. I like a low stance. Always seems to crawl well with that type of setup for me. And yes love me some sweet tea!

Tech note. My shocks are externally sprung to extend and internally sprung to retract.. G2 ink pens have the best springs ever.

Any oil? and what shocks are they? Did you put the G2 springs under the shock piston? Please advise!

Yes 35wt all around. They are the rc4wd dual spring shocks that everyone sais get stuck but ive had no issues. I put the g2 spring under the piston. Keeps the axles pulled in during climbs instead of extending when no weight is on them.. tricky tricky..
