I'm slowly starting to build something very similar to yours! and now i'm shopping for tires...and honestly, I really dont know what to get... I was maybe going with the wildpeaks but your build actually helped me alot figuring what it would look like! maybe the wildpeaks are a bit too tall and the truck would look like a bigfoot!!! so rockbeasts from CI is what I'll get! (not super crazy about the krawlers, to me they look like my old flat irons)

Very nice rig well built!

Thanks guys, finished up the new links for new VP panhard mount and turned the comm on my motor and put it back in.

Now I just need to finish wiring up the new fxr that I waterproofed and build some inner fenders for this weekends TTC.

The new lower stance, but with more up travel.

New vp mount and new aluminum trackbar and draglink. No bends needed on the draglink now, but still needed a small bend on the trackbar to clear the diff at full stuff.

This jeep is awesome! It makes me want to do a tj so badly.

How did you go about waterproofing the fxr?

like that VP panhard mount...how did you get it mounted to the SCX axle housing? I'm replacing my Curries with the good 'ol plastic housings and I'm trying to do the same set up from the left over panhard from the Curries. And I know they don't just bolt right up

thanks

Got my electronics wired and in balloons. How do you guys mount these balloons in your trucks?

I still need to seal the ends, but I'm not sure if I like how they fit where they are.

Waiting on my beadlock rings for the bfgs so I put the old rock beasts on. These do make the truck more stable, but sacrifice ground clearance.

I've used zip ties or a dab of shoe goo to hold them in place.

Yep just finished mounting them and making inner fenders and that's what I ended up using.

Glad to see Guzzy still killin it on the trails. It was an inspiration when I built my TJ so when I added new wheels I knew what color it needed to be.....

I wonder about the tranny.... was it a pain in the @$$ to fix there? I kinda want to keep my servo on the axle (I hate dealing with panhard)! I'm lookin for maybe a disruptor planetary or a R3 tranny...but I have a stock SCX10 tranny sleeping in a drawer...if it's not too bad, I would save a little bit of money!

It's easy to mount there, it's a little harder to set it inside the rails sunk down like I did.
